God- Supreme Being, understood as Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, Principle.
Obedient - compliance with that which is required by authority
Divine - celebrating his praise
Intelligent - having good understanding
Virtuous - Possessing or characterized by chastity; pure
Anointed - dedicate to the service of God.
Sisters - Girls or a woman who shares a common purpose with one another.

GODIVAS was born out of the desire to praise God and the calling to minister unto his people. Dazzmana'e and Kayla Newman the founding members of GODIVAS started praise dancing at the young age of six and four under the teaching of Demone Sanders of Demone and Company. At the conclusion of Demone and Company being the youngest of the group the girls were left with the desire to praise dance for God. Seven years later Dazzmana'e and Kayla attended the DIVA Conference for young girls, were they sat and watch a group of young ladies praise dance, right then and there Dazzmana'e reheard the call, she told her sister God said it was time to go and worship me and minister in dance. Out of the obedience for God, the sisters already considered themselves DIVAS – divine, intelligent, virtuous, and anointed they became GODIVAS. Together they began to seek the instructions of the Holy Spirit with the assistants of there mother
Sis. Terrell White, they perform thier first dance two months later as GODIVAS in the presents of there mentor Demone Sanders. After independently performing through out California, GODIVAS found a home at New Covenant Tabernacle of Lodi under the anointing of Pastor Patrice MucCular. The bible says train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is older he will not depart from it.
Sis. Terrell began to train these young ladies to minister to their mind, body and soul so that they would be able to teach the ones that were to come how to connect with God in all areas of thier lives through praise dancing. Now striving to live up to thier name GODIVAS- Dazzmana'e Newman, Kayla Newman,
Moce Richardson, Ananah Richardson, Davontria Hollimon, Megan Foster and Tahja Tinsley are fulfilling Gods direction in there life.
